Grandparents Visit at almost 23 weeks

Dear Nathan and Hannah,
Your little sister is starting to kick much more, especially when you all are speaking pretty loudly. I have a follow-up appointment with the endocrinologist to make sure my hormone levels have evened out tomorrow, so hopefully I won't have to go back again. We may have to go back for gestational diabetes, but I'm praying that we will escape that this time around.

Hannah, you are following in my footsteps as you blossom into a little foodie. Even though you are starting to claim that you "Don't like green stuff" you still eat them and will ask for more sometimes. You want to try everything that I eat, even if it may be a little spicy and one thing that you and Nathan like to do is to trade lollipops or popsicles so that you can both try out each other's flavor.

One recent skill that I have witnessed you accomplish is to eat a cherry so that you are only left with a pit attached to the stem. I tried it myself, and it takes quite a lot of fine motor skills to achieve this lollipop effect.
On Wednesday we continued our May Wednesday morning tradition and met up with our good friends at Chick-fil-a. The sausage sandwiches were not as popular as the chicken minis were, but Nathan scarfed almost an entire sausage English muffin down.
On Friday we had our last MOPS meeting and then we met up with Daddy, grandpa and grandma for lunch.
That evening, we all went to church for our monthly fellowship and service project event. We made about 35 sonogram picture frames for TruCare Austin. Next month we will be stuffing these in bags with little onsies and pacifiers to give to their clients.
We had a group of about 5 families and despite all the extra helping hands, we were able to get a lot accomplished.
On Saturday morning we drove up to a science and technology museum in Georgetown. You two had lots of fun completing the scavenger hunt.
You two also experienced your first planetarium and were able to explore all the different planets in our solar system virtually.

And then you two showed off your dance moves before we left. We originally had plans to go visit McKinney Falls State Park, but the rain deterred our plans for being outside.

After lunch, we drove over to Round Rock and explored the Round Rock Express. It was a cool afternoon, and the train ride was perfect.

We finished Sunday morning off with you guys going to the wildflower flower center while I prepared for the closing ceremony for Chinese school.

Nathan, you sang nice and loud and you really enjoyed performing in front of lots of people.

On Monday, we went to the Thinkery and played there before we met up with Daddy for some lunch

Hannah's favorite area is still the water table and Nathan, your favorite area involves launching rockets through hula hoops.

When grandma and grandpa let you guys know that they were about to leave, you were both very sad for them to go. We will see them soon enough.

Well, we have one more week of school and then summer officially starts. It'll be an exciting one too and I'm pretty sure it will fly by and before you know it, we will get to meet your new baby sister.

Until next week,
Love,
Mommy
